I’m on the road at the television critics press tour in Los Angeles for the day job. We’re talking to all the show runners, actors and producers. I actually drove from Texas to L.A. with my friend Shannon and my little dog Elvis. I’m heading into some tough deadlines, so I thought I’d share my travels through photos.
Hope your New Year is off to a great start. I had six whole days where I didn’t eat sugar and then the last two… But every day is a new start. Right? And tell me how you celebrated the New Year!

Elvis made pals with some lovely nuns, who happened to be walking by the grounds outside our room at the Langham hotel in Pasadena.
Driving down icy mountain roads was more adventure than I needed. But Sedona was beautiful.

I kept going back to the pictures hoping the snowy images would somehow help me to cool down. Nope didn’t work. It all looks wonderful. Elvis looks blessedly content.
You need to take deep, deep breaths.
Looks like a fun trip.
Parts of it have been fun! Other parts, not so much.
The mountain with the sun hitting it is beautiful.
Oooh, road trip. Sounds delightful, and your photos are very inviting. Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful pictures. I love seeing new places and faces.
I didn’t do much at New Years but my husband and I went to a dinner theater last night. We hadn’t been to this one before but enjoyed it a lot. There was audience participation and the actors spent quite a bit of time in the audience and the wait staff were in costume as well. the food and play were excellent. We shall return.
