So I’m hard at work on my next Blaze (You guys are going to love these Marines), and I could use your help with something. I bought the dress below, thinking it would be a fun holiday party dress. But when it arrived, it definitely had more of a Halloween costume vibe. ๐Ÿ™‚ So use your imaginations and tell me what kind of costume I could create with this dress? Keep in mind, I can’t sew and I usually cause myself bodily harm with glue guns.

I was thinking black hat, tights and pointy shoes for a witchy look, but I’d love your ideas. You guys are SO creative. So what do you think? And what are you going to be for Halloween? What are your kid’s wearing this year? And the most important question of all, what’s your favorite Halloween candy?

Tell me, I really want to know.

And Happy HALLOWEEN! (Just a little early)ย IMG_2670

I can see witch or vampire… maybe even a devil costume with that dress… definitely possibilities! ๐Ÿ™‚
I have not worn a costume in a while… I sometimes paint things on my face like a black cat or a dragon… takes time, but turns out pretty good.
    Fav candy… sometime peanut M&M, 100 Grand bars,…
    Happy October!

If you want to go with a fun and creative option, a kid in my neighbourhood last year dressed all in red, then draped cream-coloured yarn all over her head and shoulders and pinned on some huge brown pom-poms… she was a plate of spaghetti with meatballs. ๐Ÿ™‚ You could also add a kerchief and a basket full of cookies with a stuffed wolf and you could be a wink and a nod to little red riding hood and the big bad wolf. As for favourite candy, too many to count! Coffee crisp, O Henry, and reese’s peanut butter cups, along with Mackintosh toffee.

Red hat, black belt, and a big bag. Santa. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m thinking of a black and red cape. Vampire maybe? Although you might pull a superhero with that look.

I think lots of black lace to take it into witchy territory would be fun.
