Summer is coming. Ahh, summer. Relaxation, reading on the beach. Chilling, reading by the pool. Road trips, reading in the car. Long flights to somewhere fun, again – reading.
Obviously, these visions of summer included reading somewhere 
For some reason in the summer, setting becomes more interesting. Maybe its that vacation mentality.
How about you? Whats YOUR favorite setting to read about? And do you pay more attention to setting during the summer, taking vicarious vacations through your reading?

I voted I love the mountains but the kids and hubby love the beach plus we’re just 15 minutes from it! (F)

I voted for mountains and clean because that’s my favorite setting for a book and I would enjoy it. I like privacy and open spaces like that would be so relaxing.
I love mountain scenery and the beach doesn’t remind me of much other than sand and blisters. Give me a cool, clear mountain stream rather than an ocean full of sharks and debris from ships. Mountains have waterfalls, wild flowers and variety.
