The creative process for me when I write a short story is fettered with snacks, my favorite music, a basic outline, plot ideas scribbled on a piece of paper by my side, unusual words written down in haste on a little scrap of paper that piqued my interest to include in my stories, etc. I am basically a scribbler and note taker. If I don't write something down right away, I lose it. It is fun to share and learn from other writers and authors. Things I learn, I file away for future use, and eventually they wind up in my stories. What an interesting blog! Loved reading everyone's different creative process when they write!
