For China I try to pack light bc I know I will come back heavy, but I too will need multiple levels of clothes. I slimed down my liquids. That helped lots. and I have tried to slim down shoes but that is hard, too. Vacation is easiest bc we will be hiking and reusing hiking pants. I agree, though re electronics.
