the mind’s eye develops an image
one so vivid and clear
you can feel the gentle breeze
wafting through the air
you can hear the songs of birds
as they flit across a sea of azure blue
you can smell the scents of nature
as the seasons change
and the rains come
bringing with it a joyous sound
melodic and soulful
light and airy
words fill sheets of white
to create a song of nature
in all its glory
