A Christmas Story - yuck! I love and still laugh over National Lampoons Christmas Vacation - The prayers that ends as our Nations Anthum! LOL It's a wonderful Life, and of course - all of the short cartoon christmas specials. It's not exactly Christmas without them.

I am with you guys on THE SANTA CLAUSE movies with Tim Allen. They are a riot! I also love,
NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION
RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER
FROSTY THE SNOWMAN
A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS
WHITE CHRISTMAS
MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET

and those old animated shorts of SUZY SNOWFLAKE and HARD ROCK, COCO, AND JOE. These always put in a happy mood because they remind me of my childhood. (G)

Goodness, until I asked the question I hadn't realized there were so many Christmas movies out there! I'd forgotten all about Home Alone, too. I'm definitely going to have to look up the Hallmark movies and find out what channel I get them on. We've got satellite, so I'm sure it's in one of the 200 channels LOL!

Oh, I forgot all about the traditional TV shows. Boy, I watched those each and every year for decades. I loved Rudolph, even though I still think it's kinda sad!

I have a few favorites that I try to watch every year. Before I list them I will say that I watched Mrs. Miracle (Debbie Macomber) on Hallmark the other night. It was pretty good. My favorites are:
The Grinch (the cartoon one)
Charlie Brown Christmas
Christmas Vacation
Home For The Holidays (actually it's more a Thanksgiving one)
White Christmas
Frosty The Snowman
Home Alone (all of them)
The Santa Claus (first one)
Prancer (my whole family loves this one)

I agree with you wholeheartedly....A Christmas Story is the BEST movie ever. So many great lines and such a realistic family!

Those are great movies. I miss Tim Allen since his show went off the air. The man seems to have disappeared!
