Well, it’s that time of year again—time to look back with fondness at the old year (and 72 fantastic Blaze books!) and turn our attention to 2010 (and 72 more fantastic Blaze books!)

It’s going to be quite a year. The 2010 Blaze schedule is all about men! Men in uniform and in cowboy boots. Men living on the edge in Alaska, and men saving the world as American Heroes. We’ve got heartbreakers, forbidden fantasy fulfillers and even a few who fall into the wrong bed now and then. How’s that for something to look forward to?

But we all need a few goals, right? So you’ll find that most of the January books deal with fresh starts, new beginnings…and New Year’s resolutions gone deliciously wrong.

Here’s a peek at what’s in store for lucky Blaze readers this month:

Fans of Blazing Bedtime Stories will be happy to find three more volumes in 2010. The first, Blazing Bedtime Stories, Volume III, is available this month and features sensual tales by Tori Carrington and Tawny Weber. Tori’s story is inspired by the legend of Helen of Troy (wife-stealing anyone?), while Tawny’s is based on The Frog Prince (who’s really more of a horny toad *g*). Both novellas are an absolute delight.

Then Julie Kenner brings us Moonstruck, a tale that is linked to her December title, Starstruck. What happens when a girl kisses the wrong guy on New Years’ Eve? All sorts of naughty things…

Kathleen O’Reilly continues the New Year’s theme in Midnight Resolutions, another book in her Where You Least Expect It miniseries. Kathleen’s heroines never see change coming…but they’re always glad it did.

Then Jo Leigh gives us Sexy Ms. Takes, a 3-story Blaze Encounters, featuring three New York women who find the lives they dream of, if not the lives they expected, on December 31st.
Are you seeing a theme here?

The last two books this month focus on a different New Year’s theme – goal-setting. And you can’t find anything more direct than what the characters in Sarah Mayberry’s Her Final Fling and Lori Wilde’s His Final Seduction get themselves into. Then again, isn’t that what Blaze is all about?
