Romance is ingrained in everything.

Television

It’s in reality shows like the Bachelorette, prime time hits like Castle, and hinted at on Dancing with the Stars. It’s the theme of movies and mini-series.

Film

It runs through so many movies and even has it’s own category — Romantic Comedy.

Books

There are numerous romance novels out there. In fact they make up more than half of the book market.

On-line Websites

From Match.com to Geek to Geek (yes, Muna, even geeks need love.)

Office Settings

Yes, we all have heard the stories of people meeting while working together from office executives to movie stars.

Video Games

Zelda, Prince of Persia, and even Jak

Comic Books

Spider man, Superman, etc.

But what makes romance the genre is that it runs through every other genre out there. You can’t say that about paranormal, or sci fi or mystery. Every one of those genres tend to stand alone, but romances mix into those genres in a smooth and even blend to create heart-pounding romantic suspense, titilating mystery, spicy crime, out of this world sci fi and fantasy. Heck there was even romance in Harry Potter.

Romance just quite literally rocks!
