Happy Birthday, America!

How are you spending your July 4th? Tony and I will be doing what most fellow Americans will: playing softball, enjoying a cookout, passing the time – along with a cold one or two or four – with family and friends, and then capping it all off with a boat ride to take in the fireworks over Lake Erie. The weather looks to be pitch-perfect: HOT and sunny!
Of course, July is chock full of nice days to spend on favorite activities. One of mine is lying on the back deck under the umbrella with my nose buried in a book. Need any suggestions? This month our book THE WOMAN FOR DUSTY CONRAD is available in both book and ebook format at eHarlequin.com. The title is part of Harlequin’s special 2010 Men in Uniform series and was honored with the annual Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award for best in its category. This is what Romantic Times had to say: “Captivating characters, strong secondary players, believable conflict and wonderful chemistry make this Tori Carrington second chance at love story a striking read.”

Weeeeeee! lol
Happy 4th of July Lori and Tony! Sounds like you have a fun day planned. Our day is going tobe either taking the kids the park to play or to the movies to see Avatar the Last Airbender. Then Home for a cookout and topped of with some fireworks. Should be a fun day. We definetly need to load up on the bug spray though. Last weekend my neighbor did a huge firework show and my poor daughter got like 60 bug bites in an hour. She must have really tasted good, lol! My youngest didnt get any at all. I think the bugs were scared of his glowing white skin, lol! The kid is so pale, lol!
Anyways have a wonderful day!!! (B) (D) (*)

Peace and love,

Have a fabulous time!! We watched 1000 rubber ducks get dropped off a bridge and race down the river toward the finish line. Sadly, ours didn’t win, but it was an absolute blast!! I love small town celebrations.
Happy Independence Day!!
