It’s been a crazy winter, hasn’t it?  I’ve never seen so little snow in my neck of the woods.   But there’s no doubt that spring is on its way early.  The Canada geese are going crazy (they get up on top of buildings near the office and honk their heads off .  Of course, that’s because they’re geese, not because they’re Canadian :-D ), and animals that should be hibernating are already out in droves (yes, I’m talking skunks!).   Still, I’m sure we’ll get a few more cold days before the winter is officially over.  And what better way to spend those wet, dreary spring days than snuggling up with a sizzling Blaze book?

We’ve definitely got some hot ones for you this month!  Check out the line-up:

Jill Shalvis starts things off with a bang in TIME OUT.   You know how they say you can’t go home again?  Jill’s hero, a former hockey star, now an NHL coach, finds this out the hard way.  He’s come home with a few players to rebuild after a series of wildfires.  But sparks fly fast when he finds himself face-to-face (and lips-to-lips) with his suddenly sexy childhood nemesis.

Jillian Burns is up next with the Uniformly Hot! title this month, ONCE A HERO…    This military hero is in desperate need of some R& R.  You’d think he’d find it in beautiful Hawaii.  Only once he meets the heroine, relaxing is the last thing on his mind.

Jo Leigh continues her It’s Trading Men miniseries this month with HAVE ME (and when you get a look at the hot guy on this cover, you’ll take him up on his offer!!!).   This New York cop guarantees a girl a good time.  But will it be a long time?

Kira Sinclair is also going strong with TAKE IT DOWN, the second book in her Island Heat miniseries.    Kira’s heroine suddenly finds herself in hot water (and with a very HOT guy) when she tries to reclaim– okay, steal– a painting that was stolen from her family.  Who says crime doesn’t pay?

And, not to be outdone, Karen Kendall  has a second book this month too!  Check out BLAME IT ON THE BACHELOR, part of the All the Groomsmen miniseries.  Who knew a girl could find a guy at a rehearsal dinner?  But that’s where Kylie finds gorgeous Devon.  And to think, all these years I’ve thought the only choices were chicken or fish…

Finally, Cathy Yardley’s The Player’s Club series finishes up this month with THE PLAYER’S CLUB: FINN.  Finn Macalister loves living on the edge, but he goes a little too far when he hooks up with legal counsel Diana Song.   For all intensive purposes, she’s the enemy.  And he still can’t keep his hands off her…

The month is looking pretty good, isn’t it?  I can feel the heat already…

Although we don’t have any Pet Project action this month—at least, none in the books—I’d like to ask you all to check out the animal shelters in your area, and do what you can to make things a little easier for them right now.  I know from experience that spring is a shelter’s busiest time of year, what with litters of kittens being born, baby birds falling out of nests, and bunnies being  abandoned by people who really didn’t want a rabbit for Easter.   The animals can use all the help they can get, and it definitely puts a ‘spring’ in your step when you’re the one to give it.

So, that’s the month.  For a chance to win one of three sets of the March books, tell us what spring means to you.

Happy Reading,

Great books this month! And the covers are hot!!! Spring, in my opinion, is the most beautiful season in Italy because it’s a season of the blooming almond & magnolia trees. I moved to Italy in spring & fell in love with this wonderful country.

I agree…we haven’t seen this little snow…and I live in the PNW, but we just got snow today. Spring is craziness in my neck of the woods. Just too many after school activities and my oldest son (with autism) gets a major case of “spring fever”. Me, I prefer fall. LOL.

  3. Alison says:

Am I allowed to say ‘Chocolate’?!

  4. Elaine G says:

    All these books sound great.
Spring means to me,melting snow (although right now we’re having a snow storm), more daylight ( I was getting sick of it getting dark at 4) And I can get out and start walking again without freezing.

  5. Summer says:

Spring for me, means finally some warmer weather so I’m not shivering all the time, I can’t wait.

  6. Donna McClure says:

Happy Spring! The March books look like another great line up of good reading.

Now that Spring is on the way later this month we are finally getting some winter weather here in my corner of the world. Just rain, much needed, no snow where I am but there maybe a dusting of the white stuff on some of the higher hills! Maybe I’ll go out later to see if there is any. :)

Fall is my favorite time but Spring is beautiful. We already have lots of daffodils blooming, flowering plum trees & a lot of other things. Tulips will be next after the daffodils.

  7. Margaret says:

    Start planning garden

    Great books for the giveaway.
Spring means to me living here in the Arizona desert that I get to spend time on my patio reading a lot. It means 80 degree weather and beautiful flowers.

I live in an area where spring looks a lot like summer. This year the seasons are impossible to separate. One day its spring the next day it’s summer or winter, or fall!!!!!

  13. StacieD says:

For me, Spring means daffodils. My mom planted daffodils 40 years ago and they still bloom. Every time I see daffodils it makes me think of Easter and Spring.

  14. Nicole S says:

Great line up of books again this month. Can’t wait to read Jill Shalvis’ Time out.

Spring means Baseball to me. When anyone mentions Spring I automatically think baseball. I can’t wait for the season to start.

    • Brenda Chin says:

      Hi Nicole,

Spring is the start of baseball fever to me, too. Only for me, it’s PLAYING baseball, not watching….

  15. JackieW says:

Spring to me means I can be warm again….I get cold in October and stay cold until Spring…even tho I live in Southern California…I guess people in Colorado or Alaska would call me a wimp but I just can’t seem to get warm until Winter is over. I love the flowers in Spring.

  16. Aurora says:

The March books look awesome :) To me spring means allergies and seeing open toed shoes. It also means hot weather is around the corner and possibly hanging out with a friend and going to Oklahoma.

  17. Aurora says:

To me spring means allergies, that I’m halfway to becoming older, seeing bluebonnets, etc.

Spring means mud season in my part of the world. Daffodils are still a long way off here!

    • Brenda Chin says:

I know what you mean, Joanne. We’ve got 3 dogs, so there’s lots and LOTS of mud.

  20. Na S. says:

I can’t believe it’s Match already. Spring to be is a season of rejuvenation. The trees come alives and flowers blossom. There is so much color and I love how it’s not too cold or not. Springs means helping my mom prep the gardens and soaking in the not-so-hot sunshine. 8)

  21. Patsy L Roberts says:

    Happy Spring!!!
Spring means I get to open the windows and air out my stuffy house. Okay so it’s not that simple. You must wait for the right days to do this because here in West Texas we have sand storms in the spring. The wind blows like crazy on some days. We may get snow and freezing weather on some days and then again on others it may be a still beautiful day. As they say here “If you don’t like the weather, stick around it will change any minute.” LOL :)

  22. Lennette daniels says:

Spring means crazy weather (warm one day, chilly the next), it means birthdays galore, it means flowers and allergies, it means fresh produce and the beginning of capri weather here in Florida which means shaving my legs more. :-|

  23. Marcie R says:

I like the budding of flowers and the hint of warmth in the air. Not a fan of the extremes – hot or cold – which is probably why I like Spring.
Plus the air holds a hint of possibility of good things to come.

  24. Na S. says:

Spring for me is a time for rejuvenating. It’s when the flowers start to blossom and the leaves grow. Everything is green again and there is life in nature. There are bees and butterflies and the likes. I like to go outdoors because it’s not too hot or cold. I also help my mom prepare the garden for Summer.

  31. Linda Henderson says:

Spring means the flowers are blooming, but unfortunately it also means storm season is back. I dread that. We have wind gusts to 50 MPH today, thank goodness no bad weather. I’m going to try and enjoy the good days and hope the bad days are few and far between.

  32. Lori says:

Spring to me means warmer days and no snow (or less snow).

  33. Shelley BAgby says:

It’s about new beginnings. We work in our yard. Take our dog for long walks. It’s also when we can start camping again. That’s the best!
